As founder of McMahon & Associates Michael McMahon has been providing professional video services to the legal community for 20 years. Professional services provided by McMahon & Associates include videotaped depositions, text-to-video synchronization, site inspections, event recreations, day in the life of, IMEs, examinations under oath, courtroom and trial presentations, and post production/editing.

Just prior to founding McMahon & Associates, Michael was cofounder of AVR, Advanced Video Reporters where he was instrumental in bringing legal video services to the Silicon Valley on a local level.

Mr. McMahon began his career in San Jose with the Popelka Allard Law Firm where he created the in-house investigation and research department. This work included accident recreations and video and photo site inspections. Realizing the impact video testimony was beginning to make in the courtroom, Michael earned his Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) accreditation through the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) and decided to specialize in the area of legal video services.

Since 1988 McMahon & Associates has been providing services on a national and international basis with recent experience in Japan, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Taiwan and Costa Rica. The company has established on going relationships with such local firms as Pulone & Stromberg Court Reporting, Popelka Law Group, Weil, Gotshal and Manges, the Dechert Law Firm and many other local and national law firms.

McMahon & Associates builds partnerships with its clients, and has been servicing the most respected law firms and court reporting firms in Northern California since 1988. Client feedback confirms a level of excellence and balance of tactical capabilities, comprehension of the legal field and bottom-line value. Mr. McMahon attended West Valley College in Saratoga, California and San Jose State in San Jose, California majoring in business administration. Mr. McMahon is co-founder of SpectraTek, LLC that provides full service courtroom media technology. Mr. McMahon is a founding member and present board member of Bay Area Masters (BAM) water polo club in Los Gatos. Mr. McMahon resides locally in San Jose, California.
